You only have to have been reading AMP3’s site for a while to realise that we’re long-term fans of iRiver’s products. They have some great stuff out and in the pipeline and at the forefront is the P7.
Smaller than you’d think (barely bigger than an iPhone) but with the full face given over to its screen, it has that ideal combination of pocket-friendliness with real space to watch movies on.
The User Interface has created a lot of headlines and we find it a really simple way to do it differently. We applaud iRiver for creating something that doesn’t just slavishly copy the norm, but actually tries to do it better. We’re sure you’ll agree that when you try it out and realise it is different, that it’s better as well!
Flash memory is also key – the days of heavy, fragile and power-sapping hard drives are over, in our opinion and iRiver cleverly gives you microSD expandability to add to the onboard capacities.
